The San Antonio Spurs will take on the Boston Celtics Wednesday night in the first game of their 6-game, nine day East Coast road trip.
Boston has taken seven of the last 10 games in the series, though the Spurs won the only matchup in Boston last season 87-86.
The matchup pits old foes Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett against each other once again.
Both veterans have had a solid start to the season with Duncan averaging 18 points and 10 rebounds while Garnett averages 15 and 7 respectively.
The Spurs will be short-handed Wednesday night as Kawhi Leonard and Stephen Jackson will both be out with injuries. Leonard may rejoin the team mid road trip, but Jackson is expected to miss at least a month with a broken pinkie.
Boston is 6-4 after falling to the Pistons on Sunday. The Spurs are 8-3 but just lost 2 of 3 during their recent home-stand.
