SAN ANTONIO -

It's a small little frog with a croak that sounds more like a squeak, but this rare rain frog is becoming a star after a 29 second video of it was posted to YouTube.

An email sent to KSAT said Dean Boshoff was looking for snakes in Port Nolloth, South Africa.

The frog apparently only comes out of the sand when it rains and rainfall is almost as rare as the little frogs.

The video was published on YouTube Feb. 13. It has racked up more than 823,000 views and counting.
