Stolen cell phones lead to Target robber arrest
SAPD: Albert Gonzales, 28, cut Target store security cables, stole 3 phones
Theft charges have been filed against Albert Gonzales, 28, who allegedly stole cell phones from a Target store by cutting through security cables.
The arrest affidavit stated that Gonzalez committed the thefts back to back, on two days early last month at the Target located at Loop 1604 and Blanco Road.
Police said security cameras captured him cutting through a store security cable and taking the phones without paying for them, the affidavit stated.
They said he stole two phones on Dec. 5, then returned to the same store the following day and took a third phone. Gonzales was booked into the Bexar County jail Tuesday.
