Strong winds blow through San Antonio Tuesday
Wind advisory, red flag warnings in effect throughout South Central Texas
Strong winds are expected to whip through the San Antonio area Tuesday.
A wind advisory will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday for all of South Central Texas.
The wind has also prompted a red flag warning, which goes in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service, wind gusts of 40 mph are possible.

KSAT Weather Authority meteorologist Mike Osterhage says Tuesday's high will reach 69, but temperatures overnight will drop to the mid-30s.
