A college student in Kansas went to police after finding cocaine in a textbook she ordered from retail giant Amazon.com.

Sophia Stockton, a junior at Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, found the bag of white powder in between the pages of the used textbook "Understanding Terrorism: Challenges, Perspectives, and Issues," which she bought for a spring course on terrorism, the New York Daily News reported.

Fearing the bag was anthrax, she took it to the Gardner Police Department the following day.

"(A police officer) put some gloves on and put it in a plastic bag," Stockton said. "He took it back to test it and like 10 minutes later he came back and said, 'Did you happen to order some cocaine with your textbook?'"

Gardner police destroyed the cocaine. Amazon has not commented on the incident.
