Sunshine Cottage students chow down at Cowboy Breakfast

SAN ANTONIO -

Students and staff at Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children celebrated the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Friday morning with its very own Cowboy Breakfast.

The pint-sized version of San Antonio's popular Cowboy Breakfast is an annual event at Sunshine Cottage. Each year, faculty, staff, and students ages three to 11 dress up as cowboys and enjoy breakfast tacos and biscuits and gravy in celebration of the rodeo.

Cowboy roper Kevin Fitzpatrick and "Grimy the Clown" (also known as Dr. Blaine Smith) put on a show for the children. Students enjoyed a petting zoo, saddled up for pony rides and learned how to rope practice steer heads.
