Suspect arrested in school credit card thefts
Jennifer Neuls charged with credit card abuse
Jennifer Neuls was charged with credit card abuse in connection with the theft of credit cards at a school.
A woman wanted in connection with stealing credit cards from schools in Live Oak and Alamo Heights has been arrested.
Police caught up with Jennifer Neuls, 39, on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, police in both suburbs were looking for Neuls and another woman, identified as Leticia McKinney, in connection with the crimes.
Investigators said that both women were suspects in the thefts of credit cards and checkbooks from schools in Live Oak and Alamo Heights.
An arrest affidavit stated that Live Oak police tied Neuls to the use of credit cards stolen from a counselor at Crestview Elementary School in December.
Police said they obtained surveillance photos and video showing Neuls and McKinney using the cards at various stores, including a Valero on Toepperwein Road, as well as Marhsall’s, Shoe Carnival and Bealls.
The affidavit does not mention whether McKinney has been arrested yet. Neuls faces a charge of credit card abuse.
