San Antonio police are asking for the public's help in finding the person who shot a man dead in his home nearly three years ago.

Police said Javier Ramos, then 26, was home alone around 2 a.m. on Dec. 6, 2009, in the 5200 block of Overpool, when someone kicked in the back door and shot him.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
