Suspect sought in cab driver carjacking

A cab driver was carjacked at gunpoint early Wednesday morning on the Northwest Side.
Police said the driver picked up a man near Interstate 10 and Loop 410 and drove him to the Eagles Nest Apartments on Fredericksburg Road.
The man then pulled a gun, told the driver to get out and carjacked the cab, police said.
Police tracked the cab to the Oaklawn Apartments on Oaklawn Drive.
Officers recovered the cab, but the suspect was nowhere to be found.
The cab driver said he was shaken but not injured.
