Suspected DWI driver T-bones car, smashes into pole

Driver suffers minor injuries after accident on Blanco Road at Loop 1604

SAN ANTONIO -

A suspected DWI driver ran a red light and caused a 2-car crash early Monday morning.

San Antonio police said the driver ran the light at Blanco Road near Loop 1604 around 1 a.m. Police said driver T-boned another car and crashed into a light pole.

The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt, and the suspected drunk driver suffered minor injuries, police said.

Police have not said what charges would be filed against the suspected DWI driver.
