The Bexar County Sheriff's Office says speed and alcohol were factors in a crash Tuesday night that injured two people.
The accident was reported at 9:45 p.m. along Interstate 10 East between FM 1516 and Loop 1604.
Witnesses told deputies a woman was speeding when she ran into a parked 18-wheeler on the right side of the interstate, then veered to the left and hit a car in the inside lane.
Deputies said the car lost control, flipped and landed on its roof in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10.
A total of six people were inside the car and two were taken to the hospital for treatment. Deputies said a man broke his hip and a boy broke his arm.
The woman who caused the accident will be charged with intoxication assault, deputies said. She was not injured.
