Police say a woman who crashed into a police cruiser early Saturday morning may have been intoxicated.

The officer and a passenger, who was a citizen observer, were taken to the hospital.

It happened just before 2:30 a.m. in the 7100 block of San Pedro.

Police say the woman was making a left turn when she hit the police car.

She refused a breathalyzer test at the scene and was arrested for suspicion of DWI. She was taken in for a mandatory blood draw.

The officer and observer were taken to Methodist Hospital with minor injuries.
