San Antonio police are asking for the public's help in solving the slaying of a 67-year-old man who was found dead in his home in June.
Police said the body of Rolando Castillo was found in his home in the 2700 block of Wilborn Drive.
Castillo lived alone, police said, and friends became worried when they were unable to contact him. When they went by to check on him, they found him unresponsive, "the apparent victim of a homicide," police said in a statement released Wednesday.
Crime Stoppers will pay $5,000 and an additional $5,000 is being offered by the friends of Castillo for a total reward of $10,000 for information which leads to the arrest of the persons responsible for his death.
Anyone with information is requested to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP (7867).
