Teen, 16, accused of attacking, killing woman at home on Parmenter, Coleridge streets
San Antonio police: Teen charged with murder; Victim pronounced dead at San Antonio Military Medical Center
A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with murder Wednesday night after San Antonio police said he attacked a woman in her home at the corner of Parmenter and Coleridge streets Wednesday afternoon.
San Antonio police were called to the Northeast Side home around 2:30 p.m and said they found a woman in her 60s in a pool of blood, in a bathroom.
The victim was critically injured and was transported to the San Antonio Military Medical Center where she died a few hours later. She suffered blunt force trauma and was possibly stabbed, San Antonio police said.
According to San Antonio police, the 16-year-old suspect knows the woman and may be related to her. The name of the victim has not been released.
Neighbors reported seeing the teen leaving the home in a dazed state. The suspect is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center, San Antonio police said.
