Teen accused of tagging Northwest San Antonio church, causing $5k in damages
San Antonio police said surveillance cameras caught Sean Siemens, 17, in action
Sean Siemens, 17, is accused of spray painting graffiti on two buildings at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, causing about $5,200 in damage.
San Antonio police arrested Siemens Wednesday on a charge of graffiti, causing $1,500-20,000 in damage.
The arrest warrant affidavit stated that police obtained surveillance video and still pictures that show Siemens in action, tagging a shed on the property of the church in September.
According to the church’s website, it is located near Loop 1604 and Hausman Road.
Police said the word, “SMILE” had been spray-painted on the shed.
They said they also found the same markings on the columns of another building that’s still under construction on that same property.
The affidavit states that a high school police officer helped San Antonio police investigators identify Siemens from the photos.
