Texas Lottery officials have identified the lucky San Antonio man who won part of Wednesday's record Powerball jackpot. The lottery commission's website identifies the man as Ruben Briones.
Briones was sold a $1 million winning ticket at The Frio City Food Mart on Frio Road.
The Powerball jackpot swelled to an estimated $580 million, the second largest lottery jackpot ever in the United States.
Briones' ticket is one of four tickets with the first five numbers drawn, but not the powerball.
A man who claimed to be a relative of Briones said he was asking for privacy at the moment and did not wish to speak on camera.
