Thief grabs store's cash register during robbery

Police searching for suspect after westside store ripped off

SAN ANTONIO -

A thief who robbed a westside convenience store didn't waste time getting the cash.

He took the whole cash register.

Police say that suspect entered the food mart in the 1300 block of Culebra toting a shotgun.

They say he grabbed the whole cash register, pulled it free and then bolted.

Police say the robber was dressed all in black with black shorts, a black shirt and black bandana covering his face.

Police are still looking for the suspect and no one was injured during the robbery.
