Three women injured in I-37 rollover crash
Fire chief says driver might have fallen asleep behind wheel
A rollover crash Sunday injured three women, and investigators say the driver might have fallen asleep at the wheel.
The crash happened just before one Sunday afternoon.
Police say the woman driving left the highway and rolled the pick-up truck on I-37 southbound near SE Military.
The wreck left all three women trapped inside the truck.
The fire department had to cut them out of the wrecked pick-up.
EMS transported two of the victims to University Hospital and one to SAMMC.
All appeared to have moderate injuries.
A district fire chief at the wreck scene said the woman driving might have fallen asleep.
He said all three are from out of town and were driving home when the crash happened.
