A crash involving three tractor-trailers closed the north-bound lanes of Interstate 35 near Mile Marker 201 for more than five hours in Hays County.
According to a news release from the city of San Marcos, the crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday when the three big rigs collided with each other.
The San Marcos Fire Department contained a 30-gallon diesel spill from one of the rigs until Texas Department of Transportation crews arrived to clean it up.
Two of the drivers were taken to local hospitals with non life-threatening injuries, officials said.
The site was cleared and open to traffic by 7 a.m. Tuesday.
