A train slammed into a car on the tracks at Rittiman Rd. after the car's driver had crashed and run off.

The train hit that car around 3:30 Sunday morning near I-35 and Rittiman.

Police say the driver of that car lost control on the access road, went through a brushy area and ended on the railroad tracks.

The driver ran off and that is when a train crashed into the car.

No injuries were reported.
