SAN ANTONIO -

A long-haul trucker was arrested Friday afternoon by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in San Antonio on child pornography charges.

According to a statement issued by the task force, James Troy, 45, was wanted by Pima County Sheriff's officials in Tucson, Ariz., on 17 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor under 15 years of age.

Task force officers in Tucson received information that Troy was employed as a truck driver and was en route to San Antonio to make a delivery at the Lowes Home Improvement store, located in the 200 block of Southwest Loop 410, where he arrested upon arrival.

Troy is currently being held in the Bexar County Jail without bond.

According to investigators, on Feb. 7, 2012, Troy committed sexual exploitation of a minor younger than 15 by distributing, transporting, exhibiting, receiving, selling, purchasing, electronically transmitting, possessing, or exchanging child pornography via the internet.

The arrest warrant was issued earlier this month.
