Two apartments damaged in late night fire

Fire crews had their hands full Friday night battling a blaze at a four unit apartment complex on the Northwest side.

It happened in the 11000 block of Spring Shadow around 11 p.m.

Crews arrived to heavy flames and smoke pouring from one of the apartments.

Another apartment sustained heavy smoke damage.

Everyone was able to make it out safely.

The cause is unknown.

The damage is estimated at $50,000.
