The Maverick County Sheriff's Department is trying to identify two young men found dead Tuesday in an irrigation canal.

One victim is a Hispanic man between 19 and 22 years old. He was about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighed 130 pounds. He had a dark complexion with coarse, wavy black hair. He had thin lips, thin eyebrows, a straight nose, a thin dark mustache and a beard on his chin. He had a barbwire string tattoo on his right upper arm and a letter "A" on his left upper arm. He had a tattoo of a cross on his left calf.

The other body found was of a Hispanic male between 17 and 19 years old. He was about 6 feet tall and weighed about 160 pounds. He had 160 pounds, a dark complexion, short straight black hair, medium lips, medium eyebrows, a straight nose, long eyelashes and was clean shaven. He had a necklace with a Virgin of Guadalupe medal on it.
