The U.S. Marshals Service will host an auction Saturday where more than 200 pieces of jewelry, watches and gold coins will be available.

Values for the items vary from $100 to several hundred thousand dollars. The items were seized from federal court cases nationwide and have been forfeited to the government. The U.S. Marshals Service consolidates all of the pieces seized and holds a few large auctions during the year.

A public preview will take place Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The auction will take place at the Adrian Spears Judicial Training Center beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Those who cannot attend can take part online at Interested buyers can also find a catalog with the expected price range for each item on that website.

Proceeds generated from the auctions will go towards compensating victims of crimes and helping law enforcement programs.
