UNVERISAL CITY, Texas -

Universal City police continued to search for suspects Monday in a drive-by shooting that resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man on Saturday.

Jeremy Wesley Moore, 22, was riding in the backseat of a sedan driving along West Wright in Universal City.

Police said another car pulled up alongside, and opened fire, killing Moore.

“It might be gang-related, it might not be,” said Det. Anthony Nolden, when asked about a possible motive for the crime. “We don’t believe, however, that it was random.”

An unnamed person driving Moore has been questioned by police, but was released, as were several witnesses to the crime.

“These are difficult crimes to solve because we have no suspect vehicle description, and we found no shell casings,” said Nolden. “That makes it different that your usual homicide scene.”

Universal City police are asking anyone with information on the case to come forward.
