Two brothers who died last month after their family car was struck by an SUV fleeing San Antonio police will be laid to rest Tuesday.
1-year-old Wesley Maspero and 3-year-old Walter Maspero were passengers in a vehicle struck by an SUV allegedly driven by 30-year-old David Rodriguez on Sept. 19.
Rodriguez reportedly fled officers who were conducting a stakeout at a suspected drug stash house before he struck the vehicle carrying the Maspero family. Rodriguez has been charged with capital murder.
The Maspero brothers were remembered at a rosary Monday evening at St. Frances X. Cabrini church.
They will be laid to rest at San Fernando Cemetery #2 at 11 a.m. Tuesday, processing from St. Frances X. Cabrini, with mass starting at 10 a.m.
