An underground pipe gave out and caused a water main break at a Valero construction site on Shaenfield Road at FM 1560 early Monday morning.

SAWS crews responded to the small geyser in northwest Bexar County, but could not shut off the water because there was no meter.

SAWS crews waited for a contractor to get on site before the water was turned off. Water service was not affected in the surrounding areas.
