      The Wounded Warrior Project's Soldier Ride comes to San Antonio on Saturday, Nov. 12. If you would like to ride, get involved or donate to Soldier Ride, visit soldierride.org.

      St. Andrew Lutheran Church will have a Chili Cook Off on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 16320 Huebner Road. A $3 donation includes a hot dog, a drink and a chance to taste the chili from the competing teams.

      Operation Homefront of Texas will host the first annual "Texas Patriot Festival" on Veteran's Day, Friday, Nov. 11, starting at 4:30 p.m. on the MacArthur Parade Field at Fort Sam Houston. The outdoor event is free and open to the public. Call 659.8039 for more information.

      The San Antonio Camaro Club will host its 2nd Annual "Autumn Car Show" on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Providence Campus located at 1215 N. St. Mary's. This family-friendly event is open to the public. Enjoy food, drinks and music.

      Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas will hold its "Picture your World" Youth Photography Program workshop on Sunday, Nov. 13, at Cibolo Creek Ranch in Bulverde from 1 to 4:30PM. For registration and information, call 222.8430.

      Twelfth Annual Texas Furniture Makers Show at Kerr Arts & Cultural Center will be held Nov. 10 through Dec. 10 in downtown Kerrville. An exhibit of fine furniture featuring the work of the best furniture makers in Texas.

      The Little Flower Altar Society will host their annual Turkey Bingo on Sunday, Nov. 13, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the parish hall located at 907 Kentucky Avenue. A $6 donation gets you 20 games. Food and beverages will be available!

      The Holmes Huskies class of '86, will host Reunion Night. The two-day event will be held Nov. 19 and Nov. 20. If you graduated in the 80s from Holmes High School and want to join the fun, visit huskieseightysix.eventbrite.com.

      The San Antonio Symphony will perform with UTSA Choir and Mastersingers on Friday, Nov. 11, and Saturday, Nov. 12, at 8 p.m. at the Majestic Theatre. For tickets and information, call 554.1010.

      The Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare will host a Mega Adoption Event in conjunction with PETCO National Adoption Weekend on Nov. 12 and 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the PETCO located at 125 NW Loop 410, across from North Star Mall.
