SAN ANTONIO -

A new kind of event hits San Antonio this weekend.  It's the first-ever Alamo City Run Fest, a celebration of health, fitness and, of course, running.  The festival features races for all levels of fitness, a half-marathon, a 10k, 5k, and even a race for kids.  The races are all on Sunday and begin and end at the Alamodome.  A health expo is Saturday at the Alamodome, and is part of the Run Fest activities.  Participants will also have a chance to register at the Saturday event for Sunday's races.  Click here for information.

For music fans, country music star Don Williams plays Friday night at the Majestic Theatre.  The Texas native was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010.  Click here for tickets.

And rock legends, Styx, play Saturday night at the Majestic Theatre.   Click here for tickets.
