A wild predator is catching the attention of a northwest Bexar County neighborhood. 

The Scenic Oaks Property Owners Association sent residents a letter that warns them about a large wildcat potentially roaming the area.

A homeowner in the subdivision reported finding a deer carcass that appears to have been killed by a bobcat or mountain lion.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department confirmed the kill was likely from a wildcat. 

The letter urged neighbors to be careful with their pets, and walking outside late at night.
