SAN ANTONIO -

San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help in solving the murder of a man who was shot and killed this summer.

Investigators said 38-year-old Jose Gonzales (pictured) was killed on July 1.

They said Gonzalez was standing outside a motel room in the 1500 block of Roosevelt when some people in white pickup truck shot him several times.

Gonzales died at the scene.

Investigators have collected a lot of evidence but are hoping to speak with other witnesses.
