A woman was hospitalized early Thursday morning after suffering burns to her hands during a house fire in the 1300 block of Norfleet Street.

San Antonio firefighters were called to the Northeast Side home just after 1 a.m., and contained the fire to one room.

Fire officials did know the extent of the woman's injuries. A cause or damage estimate was unknown Thursday morning.
