Heavy flames and smoke forced a woman out of her south San Antonio home early Thursday morning.
Firefighters were called to the 400 block of Stonewall near Pleasanton Road around 2 a.m., and said the home was engulfed in flames.
Crews battled the fire for close to 45 minutes after it spread though the attic and into the walls.
Fire officials believe it started in the front of the home. The woman who lives in the home reported hearing several loud pops come from the fuse box near the front door.
Fire fighters called an arson investigator to the scene as a precaution, but didn't find anything suspicious.
No other buildings were threatened and no one was injured. The arson unit was called to the scene to investigate a cause.
