SAN ANTONIO -

San Antonio police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who they said robbed a Walmart.

Police said in the early morning hours of Nov. 2, a woman with short hair wearing a black hooded sweater walked up to a register at the Walmart in the 1400 block of Austin Highway with a Blackberry Go phone.

The clerk told police that the woman told her she had a gun and that she wanted the phone.

The clerk said the woman never displayed the gun, however, and fled soon after grabbing it off the conveyer.

The woman is described as being between the ages of 19 and 25, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighing 130 pounds.

Police said she fled in a grey or silver sedan (pictured below).

Anyone with information is urged to call crime stoppers at 224-STOP or the SAPD robbery unit at 207-0300.
