AMBER Alert discontinued for missing El Paso children

EL PASO, TexasUPDATE (9:30 a.m.): An AMBER Alert has been discontinued for two missing El Paso children who had been abducted along with their mother.

The alert had been issued by the El Paso Police Department just before 12:30 a.m. Friday.

Ashley Estrada, 9, and Brandon Estrada, 10, were believed to have been taken by gunpoint by Miguel Mendez, 29.

The children's mother, Brenda Estrada has also been missing.

The El Paso Police Department is searching for two siblings along with their mother who they all believe is in grave and immediate danger.

The AMBER Alert was issued just before 12:30 a.m. Friday.

Ashley Michelle Estrada, 9, was born March 25, 2007, is four foot six and weights 100 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

Brandon Jesus Estrada, 10, was born March 1, 2008 and is four foot five weighing 90 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and is wearing a dark shirt and jeans.

Brenda Estrada, the children's mother, is also missing.

Police are presently looking for Miguel Mendez, 29, who is 5 foot 10 with black hair and brown eyes in connection with their abduction. He is driving either a blue or green 2001 Acura TL with the Texas license plate number HGV4546.
