The Canyon High School sophomore accused in the death of classmate Logan Davidson (pictured) is now under house arrest under strict conditions, according to Joel Perez, the San Antonio attorney representing the boy.
Perez said he could not elaborate on the conditions of his house arrest.
A spokeswoman for the Comal County District Clerk’s office said no information could be released about case because the defendant is a juvenile.
The attorney said his 15-year-old client was allowed to leave the Guadalupe County juvenile detention facility yesterday afternoon by Comal County Court at Law No. 2 Judge Charles Stephens II.
Stephens had declined to release the boy into his parents’ custody following his initial detention hearing last month.
He has not been identified publicly because he is a minor.
He is accused in the deadly assault of Davidson during a confrontation in the hallway outside their classroom at Canyon High School on Nov. 13.
The case is now in the hands of the Comal County district attorney.
