SAN ANTONIO, TX – Angela Navarro, 28, is facing a charge of fraud after San Antonio police said they found another woman’s personal information inside a vehicle in which she was riding.

Police first spoke to Navarro on April 21 after they initiated a traffic stop on the car, which had a broken taillight.  An arrest warrant affidavit said officers then noticed several credit cards, driver's licenses, checkbooks and other items belonging to another woman.

That victim had already filed a police report, telling investigators that someone had broken into her home and stolen the items, the affidavit said.

Officers arrested both Navarro and the driver of the car, Efrain Rodulfo, 28, on outstanding warrants. It appears that she has been in custody since that time.

A fraud charge was filed Monday against Navarro. It is unclear whether Rodulfo has been charged in connection with the case, although the affidavit names him as a suspect.
