NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -

During a status hearing in juvenile court on Monday, a judge modified the house arrest conditions for a 15-year-old who was arrested following the beating death of a fellow Canyon High School student last month.

Logan Davidson, 15, (pictured) was punched as he left a classroom and died a day later, investigators said.

A fellow student, whose name has not been released since he is a juvenile, was released from juvenile custody last week under strict house arrest guidelines.

Following Monday’s hearing, the teen's lawyer, Joel Perez, explained the revised conditions of his client’s house arrest.

“He’s not allowed to be on social media and not allowed any movement,” Perez said. “He can talk to family members and his defense team and that’s it.”

Perez said that no petition has been filed in the case by the Comal County District Attorney and that at this point things remain – in his words – “in limbo.”
