SAN ANTONIO -

A driver left behind a trail of damage Monday evening at a South Side home in the corner of Commercial and West Baetz.

Around 8:30 p.m., San Antonio police say the driver was headed south on Commercial when he hit a fire hydrant and stop sign at the intersection.

The car continued across West Baetz hitting a parked pickup truck and the front porch of a home.

An elderly woman, her daughter and grandson were in the house, but were not hurt.

Police say the driver was in possession of cocaine and could be charged with DWI. Police did not immediately release his name.
