SAN ANTONIO -

A carjacking at a hotel on the city's Northeast Side early Tuesday morning led to a police chase and crash.
Two suspects stole a car at gunpoint at the Extended Suites in the 9700 block of Interstate 35 North around 2 a.m., San Antonio police said.
A police officer spotted the stolen car about a mile away at Interstate 35 and Walzem, but the driver refused to stop, police said.
Police said the driver was going around a curve on Midcrown Drive near Castle Brook Drive when he lost control, jumped a curb, crashed through two fences and then slammed into a tree in a back yard.
"They hit a lot of things back there. I had a big ol' pot. They went through a tree that's probably three years old," said Alicia Delgado, who owns the home where the crash happened.
When Delgado looked outside her home around 2:30 a.m., officers had their guns raised.
"They had one guy standing already out there, and he was talking, so I knew he was OK. But they were trying to get him down," Delgado said.
Police said said a loaded shotgun was found in the stolen car.
Both suspects suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Police said both men would face aggravated robbery charges and the driver would also be charged with evading arrest.
