Couple struck downtown in hit-and-run

Police searching for older model Chevy Blazer

SAN ANTONIO – Two people were sent to a hospital after being hit by a car downtown late Friday night. 

Witnesses said the couple was crossing the 100 block of Grayson Street to get to a bar when they were hit by a Chevrolet Blazer. Police said the vehicle is an old model.

The man was taken to University Hospital with a broken femur. The woman also suffered some bruises.

Police are still trying to track down the hit-and-run driver. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
