MIAMI – Fast food favorite Chick-Fil-A is attempting to make eating out with young children a more pleasant experience.
Well, at least one that's survivable with a parent's wits intact.
The restaurant chain is introducing its new "Mom's Valet" program that will offer a helping hand to moms or dads that need one while getting a bite to eat.
According to Business Insider, the service will allow parents with children to order their meals in the drive-thru lane, and then go inside the restaurant where an employee will have already set up a table with high chairs.
Once the family is seated, the employee will serve the meal that was ordered.
Chick-Fil-A hopes the program will attract parents with young children that dread the entire process of dining out for a quick meal while also watching over the kids.
Of course, some critics of the service are unhappy with the restaurant's calling it "Mom's Valet" as they believe it harkens back to a bygone era.
But overall, the program has been met with cheers from parents who think that dining out with the family should be fun, and not a nightmare.
