SAN ANTONIO -

Crime Stoppers hopes someone can provide them with clues into an unsolved shooting death of a 17-year-old boy.

At about 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2009, Paul DeLeon was the front seat passenger in a vehicle at the intersection of Fair and New Braunfels avenues, when a white Nissan Frontier pickup or a Ford Explorer Sport Trac extended cab pulled up next to it.

Moments later, someone in the pickup truck fired a gunshot that killed Paul.

Witnesses helped police create a composite sketch of the gunman.

Crimes Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the shooting death.

Anyone with information is urged to call 210-224-STOP (7867) or toll free at 1-800-233-7867. As always, you do not have to give your name when you call.

Tips can also be texted to CRIMES (274637) or on the Crime Stoppers website.
