A flash flood watch was cancelled for Bexar County Wednesday morning as a cold front moved through the area and heavy rains continued in the Texas Hill Country.
The National Weather Service said Tuesday night that 1 to 2 inches of rain were expected Wednesday morning with as much as 3 to 5 inches in some areas of Central Texas and the Hill Country.
Rain was forecast for the greater San Antonio area mainly before 2 p.m. Wednesday. Chances for showers were expected to drop in the evening hours.
The noticeable difference in the weather was a dip in temperatures. The high across San Antonio Wednesday was expected to be 63 with a low in the mid-50s.
