Police make arrest in fatal stabbing

Luis Trevino, 29, charged with murder in death of Angelo Garcia, 21

SAN ANTONIO – A 29-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night in connection with a fatal stabbing.

Luis Trevino was apprehended without incident by members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in Corpus Christi, San Antonio police said.

Trevino was charged with murder in the death of Angelo Garcia, 21, (pictured, below).

Police said around 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Garcia was asked to leave his apartment in the 1200 block of San Luis by his roommates, police said.

When Garcia requested to take some personal property, an argument ensued, and he was stabbed, police said.

Garcia was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Trevino will be extradited to Bexar County at a later date, police said.
