Police seek man who robbed Family Dollar store

Robbery happened Jan. 29 at 938 Bandera Road

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department is asking for help identifying a man they said robbed a Family Dollar store.

According to a police report, the man (pictured, above) entered the store Jan. 29 at Bandera Road and told a clerk, "I know you have money in the register. Give me the money or I'm going to hurt you."

The clerk gave him the money and the man ran away, police said.

The clerk told police that he had seen the man in the store a few days prior to the robbery.

The man has a distinctive red birthmark on the left side of his face.
