Crime Stoppers offering $5,000 reward for help identifying suspect

SAN ANTONIO – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man sought on suspicion of aggravated robbery on the city's West Side.

The victim was making a delivery at 270 Barclay St. on Dec. 21, when the man began to open the side panels of his delivery truck. When the victim tried to confront the robber, the man pulled out a large green blade while walking toward the victim, police said.

The man then returned to the truck and stole property from inside it, police said. He escaped in a Chevrolet Cruz driven by another man. The car drove away going eastbound on Colima Street.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the man’s arrest. Anyone with information about the individual's identity is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP (7867).
