SAN ANTONIO -

A Southeast Side resident who is believed to have targeted the same TJ Maxx store for burglaries several times has been arrested in connection with at least one case.

San Antonio police said 43-year-old Roy Coker stole $3,000 worth of designer purses from the store in December.

An arrest warrant affidavit stated that the break-in was caught on surveillance camera, and that employees recognized him as the same person who had burglarized the business in the past.

Earlier this month, police appealed to the public for help in a Crime Stoppers report, and it led to tips in which Coker was identified as the suspect shown, the affidavit stated.

At the time of the appeal, police said there appeared to be a second person involved in the burglary. It does not appear that they have identified that other person yet.
