Grandparents search for resources when raising abused children

SAN ANTONIO – Finding a stable placement where children feel safe is a top priority when Child Protective Services removes children from their homes because of abuse or neglect.

More often than not, that means placing the children with another relative such as a grandparent.

 

But as the Defenders’ Dillon Collier shows us in the video above, those grandparents don't always feel CPS gives them enough information about available help.
