A 19-year-old man wanted for robbery ran onto a northeast side golf course during a foot chase with San Antonio police officers and Bexar County sheriff's deputies.

The chase began around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday as SAPD and Bexar deputies were serving a warrant at a home near Woodlake Parkway.

The suspect fled on foot and eventually entered the Woodlake Club golf course.

Officials said a deputy fired a shot during the pursuit, but no one was hit. The deputy was not hurt.   

A helicopter and K9 unit were used to search for the suspect on the golf course, but as of 9:30 p.m. he had not been caught.

The 19-year-old was wanted for robbery, however details surrounding the robbery were not available.
